Reaching Out
Partnership with Nueva Frontera, Honduras
In Spring 2023, Trinity began a partnership with World Vision Canada and a village called Nueva Frontera in Honduras through the Chosen Program.
Through being Chosen, members of the congregation currently support children from the village, and we at Trinity continue to communicate with and connect to this village. Check out the Chosen Page for more information on the program, recent updates, and how to get involved.
ESL (English as a Second Language)
The ESL Group at Trinity meets weekly on Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm. Many students from around the community join this group each week, all with varying backgrounds and language abilities. The main emphasis of the group is to provide the students with a space where they can feel comfortable, safe and cared for, all while learning the English language.
Knitting for Others
The Knitting for Others Group at Trinity produces hats, scarves, sweaters, mittens, blankets, afghans and more! This group partners with local agencies such as the Salvation Army and Children’s Aid Society, to support those in need. There is usually tea, coffee and snacks, and it’s a wonderful time for fellowship all while helping people and supporting the community.
