STEPHEN MINISTRY
Do you know someone going through a difficult time? Do you have a friend, neighbour, co-worker, or relative who has been struggling with the loss of a loved one, loneliness, cancer, a layoff, divorce, a spiritual crisis, recuperation, or any of countless other life challenges? Our Stephen Ministers can provide them with the focused listening, prayer, and support they need to make it through the crisis. Stephen Ministers are Trinity members with special training to provide high-quality, one-to-one Christian care. Whether it’s for a short or long term, those served by this ministry are assured of complete confidentiality.
For more information, please leave a confidential message for our Referrals Coordinator Stephen Hime, either through voicemail at 905-826-1901 ext. 302, or by email: stephenministry@trinitystreetsville.org .
The Streetsville COPING program (a branch of The COPING Centre, Cambridge) is a support group for adults mourning the death of a loved one.
An eight-week group program, led by trained volunteers, COPING provides a forum where individuals can share experiences and talk about their feelings in the grief journey, in a warm, loving environment. Group size is limited and there is no charge for participants.
If you or someone you know – in or outside of the Trinity community – is interested in more information, please contact Annie Shalvardjian at 905-826-1901 × 231 or coping@trinitystreetsville.org.
Brochures are also available at the Welcome Desk in the church lobby.

PRAYER MINISTRIES
Prayer is a key means by which we can care for those in crisis or distress.
Jesus says, " Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28). Here at Trinity, we can pray with you or for you. If you would like to be prayed for, please submit your prayer request to prayer@trinitystreetsville.org, text us at 833-639-5122, complete an online Prayer Card, or visit our Prayer Flag during communion at during our services.
Prayer Chain
At Trinity, we have teams that want to and are ready to pray for you and with you. Any prayer requests that are made will be sent out to our Prayer Chain Team who will keep your request confidential while holding it up to God in prayer. If you would like to be prayed with, please contact the Care Ministry Team (care@trinitystreetsville.org) and we will set up an in-person prayer time.
Prayer Flag
During Sunday Service, we also have a with team of volunteers who will pray with you in the lobby during communion. If you are at home, you can text us at 833-639-5122 and someone at the Prayer Flag will pray for your request.
